Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park
Upon arrival, you will be welcomed by our company representative who will transfer you to Kibale Forest National Park in western Uganda, passing through beautiful rolling hills, valleys, small towns, and the villages of Kagadi district, arriving in time for lunch, and a relaxed afternoon around the lodge, or an optional crater lake walk tour, dinner and stay overnight at

Day 2: Chimpanzee Tracking and Bigodi Swamp Walk
We will have a morning breakfast, after which we transfer to the park visitor center Kanyanchu to begin our Chimpanzee tracking experience, briefing will be done then you head into the forest to track chimpanzees, the park hosts 1,500 members and has 120 habituated chimpanzee troops, these are led by a male Alpha, meeting the chimpanzee takes 2-3 hours hike into the forest, and an hour is allowed while with the chimpanzee. Returning for lunch at the lodge and enjoying an afternoon Bigodi swamp walk, you will enjoy the serene environment and more primates like the vervet monkeys, and olive baboons to mention.

Day 3: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
We will have breakfast after which we transfer to Bwindi impenetrable national park, passing via the southern sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park for tree-climbing lions, this is the only place in Uganda to find the lions, a brief game drive route you will spot the African elephants, waterbucks, Topi, arriving to the home of Mountain Gorillas in the evening for check-in at the lodge, dinner and stay overnight at

Day 4: Gorilla Trekking
Following breakfast, we will transfer to the park headquarters to join other travelers for a morning briefing, our guide will help you register, gorilla trekking activity begins at 8:00 am, gorillas move freely in the park and feed not in one position, they keep rotating and sometimes get to reach far distances. Trekking takes 2 hours or even the whole day doing the activity depending on how far the gorilla families have moved.
